These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ReadyGoTools (the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

ReadyGoTools is a brand of MKB Platinum. Software we publish may be listed under the publisher name MKB Platinum, for example in the Microsoft Store. Both names refer to the same business.

1) The Service

ReadyGoTools provides online utilities (such as file conversion, compression, resizing, and related processing),
and also makes software applications available for you to download and install on your own computer.
Tool outputs are generated automatically. References to the “Service” in these Terms include our downloadable software.

2a) Downloadable software licence

This section applies to software you download from us and install on your own computer, including
RGT Screen Dimmer & Blue Light Filter, however you obtained it (our website, the Microsoft Store,
or another distribution channel).

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the software on
computers you own or control, for personal or internal business use, free of charge. You may not sell, rent, sublicense,
or redistribute the software, repackage it, bundle it with other software or installers, or present it as your own.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble it except to the extent that law expressly permits despite this restriction.
We retain all ownership of the software.

The software runs locally on your computer and does not collect or transmit personal information. See our
Privacy Policy for details. Always obtain our software from
readygotools.com or an official store listing published by us; copies obtained
elsewhere may have been altered and are not covered by these Terms.

We are not obliged to provide updates, support, or continued availability of any application, and we may change or
discontinue any application at any time.

2) Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you can legally form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and you will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

3) Acceptable use (no abuse)

You agree NOT to:

Upload, process, or transmit illegal content or content that violates others’ rights
Upload malware or attempt to exploit, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service
Bypass or attempt to bypass security features, rate limits, or access controls
Use automated tools that overload the Service or degrade performance
Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
Use the Service to harass, threaten, or invade others’ privacy
Copy, resell, or “white-label” the Service without written permission

We may restrict, block, or terminate access to protect the Service, users, and our rights.

4) Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of your uploaded files (“User Content”).
You grant us a limited, temporary license to host, process, transmit, and display User Content solely to provide the Service to you.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to upload and process your User Content and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party rights.

5) No sensitive data

Do not upload sensitive personal information (IDs, banking info, medical records, confidential legal documents).
If you choose to do so, you accept the risk of transmission and temporary storage.

6) Disclaimers

YOU USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY SOFTWARE YOU DOWNLOAD FROM US, ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
THE SERVICE AND ALL SOFTWARE WE PROVIDE ARE SUPPLIED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND THAT THE SERVICE OR SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ACCURATE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Our display software changes settings such as screen brightness and colour on your computer. It is a convenience utility.
It is not a medical device, it is not a health product, and nothing we publish is medical advice. It is not certified for
colour-critical, safety-critical, medical, or any other use where a change in screen brightness or colour could cause harm
or loss. Do not rely on it in such settings, and consult a qualified professional about any concern relating to your eyes,
sleep, or health.

7) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL READY GOTOOLS, ITS OWNERS/FOUNDERS, AFFILIATES, OR SUPPLIERS
BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR DOWNLOAD, INSTALLATION, OR USE OF
(OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE OR ANY SOFTWARE WE PROVIDE. THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT,
INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, AND PUNITIVE DAMAGES; ANY DAMAGE TO OR MALFUNCTION OF YOUR COMPUTER, MONITOR,
DISPLAY, GRAPHICS HARDWARE, OPERATING SYSTEM, OR OTHER SOFTWARE; ANY LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; ANY LOSS OF PROFITS,
REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION; AND ANY PERSONAL INJURY, EYE STRAIN, HEADACHE, OR OTHER HEALTH EFFECT,
EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED
THE GREATER OF (A) CAD $50 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

8) Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ReadyGoTools and its owners/founders from any claims, liabilities,
damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or laws.

9) Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, branding, text, software, and functionality, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without written permission.

10) Feedback

If you send ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation.

11) Changes, suspension, and termination

We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any tool) at any time, without notice.
We may also suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms or are misusing the Service.

12) Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law rules.
You agree that any dispute will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Ontario, Canada, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

13) International use

The Service is controlled and operated from Ontario, Canada, but may be accessed worldwide.
You are responsible for complying with local laws in your jurisdiction.

14) Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15) Entire agreement

These Terms and any policies referenced (including the Privacy Policy) form the entire agreement between you and ReadyGoTools regarding the Service.
